Privacy Policy
PerkHarvest is a manual credit card benefit tracker. We do not connect to your bank accounts, read transactions, ask for CVV, or require full credit card numbers.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:
- Account information, such as email address and display name.
- Card tracking information you manually enter, such as card nickname, optional last four digits, renewal date, and role.
- Benefit usage entries, such as amount, date, merchant, and notes.
- Reminder preferences, language preference, time zone, and notification settings.
- Device push tokens needed to send notifications.
- Subscription status (whether you have Pro), provided by Apple. We never receive your card or payment details.
- Basic diagnostic information needed to maintain and improve the service.
How we use information
- To provide benefit tracking, reminders, and account syncing across your devices.
- To show recovered value, remaining credits, and renewal-related summaries.
- To unlock Pro features for subscribers.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
- To respond to support requests.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not require bank login credentials.
- We do not store CVV or full card numbers.
- We do not provide financial, tax, or legal advice.
Purchases
Pro subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID and handled entirely by Apple — we receive only your entitlement status (whether Pro is active), never your payment information. Refunds are managed by Apple.
Service providers
We use service providers for authentication, database hosting, push notifications, subscription management, analytics, crash reporting, and customer support. These providers process information only as needed to operate PerkHarvest.
Data storage and security
Your account data is stored on secure, access-controlled cloud infrastructure so it can sync across your devices. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, though no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your associated data is removed, except where we are required to retain limited records by law.
Children
PerkHarvest is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
You may update or delete information in the app. You may also request account deletion by contacting [email protected].
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
